Resume Details
PR Maven: A seasoned strategist, who thrives off of coffee, big ideas and authentic communication, Colleen can plan and execute a large-scale industry event, line up media coverage for new products or services, produce a webinar, write award-winning “best place to work” nominations and craft compelling blog posts and articles for industry publications.
On the Job: For more than 20 years, Colleen has executed and counseled internal teams and clients on media relations, employer branding, internal communications and event strategies during her time with Symphony Talent, Hodes, AAA Mid-Atlantic and PennDOT.
Education: Colleen honed her communications skills at Bloomsburg University.
WFH Stats: Thankfully, Colleen is a true work from home veteran, serving in a remote
on-the-job capacity for the last 10 years, which has been an advantage in our current social distancing environment.
Personal Life
Colleen calls Downingtown, PA home and shares her life with her husband, Joe and daughter, Mollie.
She is an active volunteer in her community, serving on her church’s stewardship committee and pastoral council. Her past roles include the Home and School president, board member of her homeowners’ association, Girl Scout leader and cookie mom.
Given the chance to spend 20 minutes doing anything she wants, Colleen would choose to catch up on the news. (Ah…a true PR enthusiast!)

Favorite Vacation Destinations: Hilton Head Island, SC and Disney World

Most Embarrassing Moment: While assisting with the opening of a new highway, Colleen locked her keys in the car. After the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the official opening of the highway had to be delayed until she could get into her car and move it off of the shoulder (it was facing the wrong direction). Thankfully, there were a few state troopers at the event to assist.
Favorite Netflix Binge: “Derry Girls”
Best Advice Ever Received: Her uncle noted we have two ears and one mouth because
we need to listen twice as much as we speak. Colleen often references this when doing
media training.

Most Interesting Job: An offset printing factory while in college.
